Recommendation

For some time we contemplated relocating to a milder climate. After much research and trips to several states in the country, we concluded that North Carolina would be very suitable. To confirm our thoughts, however, we knew that a visit was necessary. After arriving late on a Sunday afternoon, we headed straight for a little town called Cary we had heard so much about. As we were totally new to the area, we aimlessly wandered about not knowing where to go or who to turn to.

After taking what we thought was a "wrong turn", we noticed a realty office sign. We parked, hoping to find someone – anyone – to talk to. As we walked into the door, two wonderfully warm and friendly ladies immediately greeted us. We didn’t know it then, but being introduced to Kathy Sims would change our lives.

Kathy instantaneously took us under her wings. She didn’t waste any time accompanying us around town, offering information about the community, showing us the "in" places to go, and settling us into accommodations. She devoted the next whole week to us exclusively, knowing that the following Sunday we were scheduled to leave.

Kathy went out of her way to understand exactly what we were looking for when it came to a home, its location and style. She feverishly did her "homework" at night so she would have a listing of properties to show us the next morning. She met us for breakfast and settled us into the best of restaurants for dinner at night.

Three days later, we found the house of our dreams. Kathy was just as excited as we were. She supplied us with names of mortgage reps, attorneys and inspectors. No stone went unturned. Even after we returned home, Kathy worked in our absence to make sure all details were covered and kept us apprised via email messages almost on a daily basis. And she continues to search for the right properties for the rest of our family to relocate to North Carolina, as well.

We know for sure that if it hadn’t been for that "wrong turn", we would have never met Kathy, and our future would never have been the same. She’ll always be our favorite realtor, and more importantly – our friend.
